| Is it legal?
| It is perfectly legal to make elongated issues on
U.S. coins. SECTION 331, TITLE 18 of the U.S. Code prohibits the fraudulent alteration and
mutilation of U.S. coins. However, the statute does not prohibit mutilation of coins if
done without fraudulent intent or use. |

| Where can I get pennies?
| I am sure you can get pennies just about anywhere. Starting
with a clean penny is very important. You can use the pennies you get in change, but
then you have to clean them. You can also go to coin shops and buy what is called BU
(Bright Uncerculated) pennies. Or you can order clean pennies from
me. |

| Is there a club?
| TEC - The Elongated
Collectors Club costs $10 a year to be a member. This is a great group of people
to join up with. They also have an email list and a chat room. You can learn a
great deal from this group! |
